Registration Information
When you register with FitView, we ask you to provide us with personal information including without limitation your name, email address, and account password, and other registration information you provide.
In order to use the FitView services you must be at least thirteen (13) years of age. As children under the age of 13 are not allowed to use the FitView services, this Privacy Policy makes no provision for their use. In the event that a user identifies himself or herself as a child under the age of 13 within the FitView website at www.fitview.com (the “website”), FitView will not collect, store or use any personal information of such user. Further, in the event that FitView receives personal information that FitView discovers was provided by a child under the age of 13, FitView will promptly delete such personal information in a secure manner.
User Communication
If you send us email or other communications, or send communications to others using FitView services, we may retain the content of your communications together with your email address and our responses and those of others.
Data You Provide
If you choose to store and/or share data through our services, such data will be stored on our servers and shall be subject to the terms of the user agreement governing your use of Fitview services. If you utilize Web-based access to your data, you must be sure to properly log off your Internet session to prevent access to your files by someone using the same computer. FitView may store data that you provide to Fitview after your account with FitView has been terminated, as provided in the user agreement for your account.
Usage Data and Non-Personally Identifiable Data
Usage data and data that you provide that does not identify you personally, such as statistics, measurements, operating system of your devices, demographic information, location information, usage information, device ID, group memberships, and the like (collectively, “Usage Data”), may be used and disclosed by FitView, as aggregated with other data, for any purpose. Usage Data is not considered “personal information.”
Sharing of Data by You
If you want to share data through our services, you may need to provide email addresses or other contact information for such persons. We will use the information you provide only to enable such persons to view the shared data and to use our services, subject to the terms of the user agreement governing your use of Fitview services.
Website Use Information
Similar to other commercial websites, our website utilizes cookies, tags, and web server logs to collect information about how our website is used. When you log onto and browse our website, our website server automatically receives and records information on our website server logs from your browser, which may include your IP address, cookie, page(s) viewed, the date and time of visits, time spent at our website, and websites visited just before and just after our website.
We use information which we collect for purposes of providing the services, auditing, research and analysis in order to maintain, protect and improve our services, ensuring the functioning of our servers, providing customer service and developing new products and services for our customers and prospective customers. Email Transmissions
Email is not recognized as a secure medium of communication. For this reason, we request that you do not send private information to us by email. Some of the personal information you may enter on our website (e.g., login, reset password, etc.) will be transmitted securely via Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) server, which encrypts such information during transmission.
