Prior to founding FitView, Calin led the product management, marketing and business development efforts at Apple for a number of skunkworks projects. Projects included foundation software for iPhone, iTunes Mobile, Apple TV, Remote and projects yet to be launched. Over the last six years, Calin proposed and executed plans to develop numerous internal “startups” from inception, formal proposal and executive review for funding, development and launch. He worked directly with Steve Jobs and the rest of the Apple exec team on four major product launches.
Previously Calin led a number of the core teams at Handspring that developed the Treo product line. Widely regarded the archetype of the modern smartphone, Calin led the Treo product management, marketing, carrier relations, business development and developer relations teams.
Calin also worked at Apple in the late nineties managing developer relations and business development. Previously he managed global IT project deployment at Amgen during hyper-growth after the launches of Epogen and Neupogen.
Calin has over 25 issued and pending patents. With over 20 years management experience, Calin leads the FitView team.
David’s career reflects a unique breadth of product design skills spanning everything from consumer electronics to photovoltaic panels. Prior to FitView, David held VP and Director of Product Design positions at Apple, Handspring, and Palm, where he helped design and deliver category defining products, such as the iMac and Treo. Most recently, he enjoyed 4 years in the renewable energy space, including at companies like SunPower, introducing User Experience Product Design to the photovoltaic industry and slashing installation labor costs and complexity.
David has a passionate interest in improving the human-technology interface and creating products that delight the end user. He uses his deep product design background to break new ground in technologies that have yet to tackle these challenges. David is well versed in all aspects of R&D including Industrial Design, electro-mechanical engineering and integration, and high volume manufacturing. One key to his product delivery success is strong working collaboration with both internal and external development teams. David has over 10 issued and pending patents.
He is also freakishly tall.
Steve’s background has been focused on product development of consumer facing hardware and software products. Prior to FitView, Steve was a Senior Vice President of Emerging Business, including Web OS Product Development, at HP where he lead the development of a number of new initiatives targeting mobile products and emerging businesses. In this role, he developed strategy and managed the P&L, product marketing and product development activities – coordinating go-to-market activities with world-wide sales channels. Products ranged from connected or “smart” TVs, Windows Mobile phones, Android and ChromeOS-based product development (prior to Palm acquisition).
At Palm, Steve was the Senior Vice President of Product Development and lead all engineering and product marketing activities for Palm Inc. (approximately 200 people). Engineering activities include all hardware, software, industrial design, product design, DTS, program management, and support engineering.
Previously, Steve held executive positions leading product development activities at Good Technology, Cadence, and Apple.

Kevin has an extensive background in operations and supply chain management. Prior to joining FitView, Kevin was at RED Digital Cinema (aka RED) where he worked in the sensor development team in supply chain, product and test engineering support. He also helped RED bring the new OLED technology BOMB EVF microdisplay to market as the latest electronic viewfinder.
Prior to RED Kevin was at Microsemi where he oversaw operations for its Analog Mixed signal group. Prior to Microsemi Kevin was at two venture
backed startup companies in Southern California. Kevin also spent 17 years with Western Digital in various roles including Director of Electronic Supplier Quality and Director of Product / Test Engineering in the VLSI group.
With over 30 years of semiconductor and operations experience, Kevin leads the partner product development, quality and operational teams at FitView.
Previously Rainer was the CTO and Co-Founder of Spruce Technologies where he redefined the DVD authoring workflow. Apple acquired Spruce in 2001 as the foundation for its DVD authoring products DVD Studio Pro and iDVD.
Rainer has over 35 issued and pending patents. With over 24 years of software engineering, design and architecture experience, Rainer leads the professional and consumer engineering teams at FitView.
